AverCareDocs

Your privacy

What AverCare collects, how it's used, and what we never do.

Your health data is some of the most personal information there is. AverCare is built around treating it that way.

The principles

๐Ÿ”‘

Yours to control

You can view what AverCare remembers about you and delete it โ€” including a full account-and-data teardown.

๐ŸŽฏ

Used to help you

Your data powers your experience โ€” your trends, your reminders, your AI context. That's the point of it being in one place.

๐Ÿ”’

Guarded in transit

Connections are encrypted, and sensitive integrations are gated behind your explicit permission.

๐Ÿ“ฑ

On-device where it counts

Camera frames for a scan are processed for the measurement โ€” the default scan mode keeps capture on your device.

Permissions are opt-in

AverCare only asks for what a feature needs, when it needs it:

  • Camera โ€” for AverScan and video conversations.
  • Microphone โ€” for voice mode and video conversations.
  • Health data โ€” only the categories you approve, from Apple Health or Health Connect.
  • Calendar (Google) โ€” only if you choose to link it, with a one-tap off switch.

Delete really means delete

Deleting your account doesn't just hide your data โ€” it tears down the linked pieces too, including ending any active AI video sessions and removing the avatar personas created for you.

What we don't do

  • We don't present AverCare as a doctor or a diagnostic device.
  • We don't make you hunt for the off switch โ€” sync and permissions are reversible.

For the engineering view of how this is enforced, see Security & privacy by design. For the formal policy, see the in-app Privacy and Terms pages.
